Attention Bloggers: The Blog Workshop [sponsored]

Have you ever heard of The Blog Workshop? Well if you haven’t don’t freight because until recently I was missing out too. It’s basically your one stop shop for all things professional related to blogging. They offer scholarships to college students, have their own TBW University teaching courses like writing, content, design, marketing and business of all things bloggy. They even have conferences, oh how I love a good conference!

Every blogger should know how to handle their SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and for the non-tech savvy this can be difficult especially with the constant change in technology. If you check out the SEO workshop section it actually maps out what you’ll learn from the workshop. This workshop is on June 26th 8:00-9:00PM check the site for additional details.

Quoted from their site:

The Blog Workshop  is a learning community for bloggers and vloggers. Our goal is to provide information that will help bloggers and vloggers take their ventures to the next level. Through our workshops, annual conference and community, we are working hard to facilitate blogging education and help bridge the gap between influencers, brands, PR professionals and more.”

Now you know me to be up front and truthful, what I think the site is, is a great location for you to hone your skills and gain information from knowledgeable people. I do not however, want you to forget that your blog is your own and stay true to yourself no matter what you don’t need to follow every rule exactly. The purpose is to absorb the information and adapt the skills to your blog and blog brand.

Additionally I don’t think I would take their blog design course simply because their site is the representation for their design and bright red and blue RGB is hard on the eyes. They also use inappropriate fonts in my opinion but apart from this tiny issue (I mean come on of course I’m going to mention it, I work with web development) I really feel the information on this site is valuable especially for those who are just getting serious with blogging but don’t know the ins and outs of making it work.  Not only that there is a community of fellow bloggers who you can join groups with and interact. Networking is always important!
Registration is free aka networking is free so there is something for every blogger at this site.

What do you think about The Blog Workshop Purpose?
