Curvy Closets Full Figured Charity Fashion Show 2013

Earlier this month I had the pleasure to attend the curvy closets fashion show in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia. The event was awesome; as I missed this year’s FF Fashion week I was excited to still check out some fall fashion and to see the debut of Allison McGevna’s new line TwentyFour20. Also some of the designers included BellaNOR boutique, Kiyonna, Elocin, and Sean Anthony Designs. Below are some of my favorites from the event. I may add more to my flickr account because there were many more outfits that were not my style but still amazingly cool. If I do that link will be at the bottom of the post.

The mingling area with some refreshments and business cards. A nice area to talk to everyone and network.

One of the vendors along the walls of the fashion show.

What I wore to the event. (My “on a ramen noodle budget” outfit!) I also had my coat from Fashion to Figure, it was super windy out. I had 20’s inspired heels on but they didn’t last to the building haha.

That purple belt just made the dress pop even more. One of my favorites of the night.

There were a number of designers on the Leather trend, this is one example.
Absolutely stunning off the shoulder dress. Perfectly complimenting curves. I wish I owned this.
This dress… needs to be in my life. For serious. I don’t know how I’m going to afford it, but it will happen!
The charming MC of the night Allison McGevna. She had us cracking up. Great personality!
Allison McGevna‘s Debut line TwentyFour20! I’m loving the flower dress.
Some of the proceeds went to Hairless for Her awareness. You can view the list of models at the Curvy Closets site. I’ve only ever attended one fashion event and it was at a college. This was a fantastic experience and I only hope next year will be even bigger and better!

Did you see my 5 little black dress post? I’m wearing one of them at this event!
